John specializes in fine art pastel portraits of pets, Humans, and Wildlife working from photographs. With a gift for capturing life and detail in his art, he works mainly in pastels to create life like paintings. Born in Ashington Northumberland in 1971, John is a completely self taught artist. 2009 saw John's work exhibited in London and Ireland, as well as Newcastle/Gateshead Art Fair.
